NEW BAY OPEN FOR BUSINESS - February 2 2011

The new 15000 sq ft bay was completed on time in October 2010 which allowed for the commencement of the £1.2million cutting investment during November 2010
The fully automated 'State of the Art' 6m x 3m cutting system manufactured by Hegla includes two cutting tables, concertina racking, remaster storeage and gantry loading and is the first of its kind in the UK. The system was handed over at the turn of the year and is now fully operational.
The investment represents the latest stage of a five year development plan geared to move Dual Seal Glass into the top echelon of UK Independant Insulatiing Glass manufacturers for the commercial sector. The cutting equipment was the second stage of the process which started with the introduction of Albet and Wirsam processing software during the summer of 2010.
Dual Seal Glass Managing Director Geoff Hancock believes the investment maximises the potential for growth in a diverse market and the introduction of 6m x 3m stock glasses allows Dual Seal Glass the opportunity to supply the latest High Performance products as they become available.
