Dual Seal Expansion - November 13 2009
Planning permission has ben granted for an extension of 14,000 square feet which increases our production facility to a total of 55,000 sq. feet.
The new extension will house 'state of the art' cutting equipment in an investment of over £1 million on new equipment.
Chester HP Complex - October 29 2009
Dual Seal Glass have recently completed the supply of Dual Therm HP Specialist Insulated Glass Units to the prestigious Chester HQ complex overlooking the Chester Racecourse.
The external elevation of the circular shaped building was glazed into a 'Kawneer' AA100 structural clip system using 3000m2 of Dual Therm HP 'Energy' glass offering the designers a high light transmission of 70% and a solar gain of 40% whilst still maintaining a neutral appearance.
Mixed into this facade were DualSpan Insulated Panels comprising of 'Graphite' ceramic backed with insulation achieving a 'u'value of 0.35w/m2.
The internal courtyard elevations were a mixture of Dualtherm 'Grey Solar' glass and 1.1 'u'value high performance low e glass.
In total Dual Seal supplied in excess of 4000m2 of Insulated glass units to this contract using specialist stillaging and 'hiab' deliveries to accomodate the contractors requirements.

NEW PAINT LINE ARRIVES - April 24 2008
'Automated roller coating technology for the application of ceramic paint will standardise quality and increase our ability to cope with the current market demand’ according to Managing Director Geoff Hancock.
The new paint line was successfully installed and commissioned over a long weekend which minimised any impact on production and service levels.
The line has been configured to coat all our Standard Colours ( see: DualSpan Product Page) and Non Standard applications as they arrive.
