Chester HQ - The Brief
Shaped to represent the Chester Amphitheatre, this prestigious development overlooks Chester Race Course incorporates hotel, offices and luxury apartments.
Close to 5000m2 of DualTherm HP Insulated Glass Units have been used in the facades. The external Kawneer AA100 Structural Curtain Walling incorporates a DualTherm' HP 'Energy' Neutral Coated IGU which offers a high 70% light transmission, 40% solar gain and a 'u' value of 1.1W/m2.
The 'Graphite' DualSpan Insulating Glass Panels spacing the vision areas are designed to achieve a 'u' value of 0.35w/m2 and compliment the facade appearance.
The inner courtyard facades are a mixture of DualTherm HP 'Solar Grey' Insulated Glass Units and DualTherm 'E' Low e coated Insulated Glass Units. Each facade was engineered to suit the environmental aspect of the building.
